Pranzi Rentals, Inc. Terms & Conditions (“Terms”)

1. Pricing: The Price on the front of the Contract of which these Terms are a part is subject to adjustment as set forth below.

2. Product Quality and Availability: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we may be required to substitute items of similar style and comparable quality to the items ordered. Once a Contract is paid in full, we will use reasonable efforts to respond to changes in items, but cannot promise that any changes can be made.  Changes on short notice may be subject to an additional fee.

3. Deposits & Payments; Collection of Unpaid Amounts; Cancellation

a. A 25% Deposit is required to reserve all items.  Deposits become  non-refundable 60 days prior to the event date. Rental items will not be reserved until a signed contract and deposit are received.

b. Contracts must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event date by cash, credit card or  check. Check payments must be received 14 days prior to event date.  If these amounts are not paid we may cancel the order or impose a 1% late fee charge. We impose a surcharge on credit cards that is not greater than our cost of acceptance.

c. If additional charges accrue after total invoice is paid, the new balance must be settled in full prior to the delivery date listed on the Contract

d. We may require a valid credit card to be left on file to pay for all fees and charges which may accrue after payment in full of the Contract; if these fees are not paid as set forth below, you authorize us to charge the card for these fees.

e. For Customers who are invoiced, all amounts are due within 30 days of the invoice date. 

f. Any unpaid amounts will be subject to interest at the rate of 1.5%/month.

g. If we must take legal action to collect amounts due, you agree to pay our costs of collection, including attorneys’ fees.

h. Notice of cancellation for rental orders, not including tents, must be given at least 72 hours in advance of delivery or the full Contract price will be charged. Notice of cancellation for tent rental orders must be given 10 days in advance of delivery or the full Contract price will be charged. Pranzi Rentals does not distribute credits for any items that go unused.

4. Fees

a. As part of the Contract price,  to deal with minor damage, a non-refundable damage waiver is charged on all rental items. The damage waiver does not cover the cost to replace missing rental equipment or to repair or replace items damaged from other than reasonable use.  All rental items must be repackaged and returned to the delivery point in the same condition as they were delivered. All tape, streamers, etc. must be removed from the items before pick-up. Food-related rental items must be scraped free from food debris. All linens are expected to be returned in the same quality and condition as they were delivered. Linens should be free from debris such as food, confetti, etc. and placed in the bags provided. If you fail to comply with these requirements, you agree to pay the cost of cleaning, packaging, repair and/or replacement at our standard rates.    

5. Delivery/Pick-up & Services; Installation and Set-Up

a. Delivery and pick-up charges are based on the location, time, and other specifications of the delivery.

b. Delivery charges include the delivery and pick-up of rentals unless otherwise noted.

c. Standard delivery hours are from 7:00 am – 6 pm. Any deliveries or pick-ups outside normal business hours will require additional charges.

d. A minimum of a four-hour window is required for a delivery and pickup. Customers who are unable to meet the 4 hour time window will be subject to a time specific delivery and must pay an additional fee.

e. Delivery locations must be within 100 feet of the accessible truck or additional fees will apply.

f. The delivery and set-up site must be cleaned and ready for the delivery, installation, and/or pick-up of all rentals.  Additionally, the site must be cleared of any obstructions restricting delivery truck access or rental set up.  Failure to do so will require mandatory charges to compensate for delayed and/or additional labor performed by Pranzi Rentals staff.

g. By accepting delivery of rented items, the Customer agrees to all terms and conditions shown on the rental Contract and acknowledges that he/she has received all rental items listed on the contract in good order

h. Tent rentals may require additional charges dependent upon ground conditions.

i. It is the Customer’s responsibility to call Dig Safe 1-888-DIG-SAFE (344-7233) at least 10 days prior to any tent installation to mark all underground utilities.  Pranzi Rentals is not responsible for damage to any underground utilities during installation of tents and is not responsible for any incidental damages that may occur during set-up or takedown.

j. Pranzi Rentals is not responsible for the exact placement of any rental item location if the Customer is not present at the time of set up to indicate the preferred location.

k. Rentals that do not require set up (ie: tables, chairs, etc.) will be considered drop off only unless the Contract provides otherwise and Customer pays an additional fee.

l. Pranzi Rentals is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages that may occur during delivery, installation, set-up, pick-up or takedown.
